First, You need a place with a bunch of bedrooms. We are all looking at the farm from Walking Dead Season 3. In our vast experience, you just wind up with a bunch of random people at your home during a zombie apocalypse. You need a strong guy to carry all the dead zombies around. You need a survivalist type to hunt for food and be able to shoot those zombies between the eyes. You have to have places for them all to sleep. We recommend houses with 5 or more bedrooms.

Secondly, you need a bunch of space! You just can’t leave the food outside. You will need supplies, like basic toiletries, batteries, matches, flares, rope, ammo, guns, hatchets, flame throwers, towels, clothes, portable lights, gasoline and so on. We recommend 3000 square feet or more.
We suggest it be a detached home. You want to be able to fortify every square inch of the exterior
